OBEY is Jamie Jones' first feature film. It had its World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in April 2018 where it won the best cinematography award in the International Narrative Competition.

OBEY also screened at the Edinburgh film festival in June 2018 where it was nominated for the prestigious Michael Powell award.

In November 2018 lead actor Marcus Rutherford was nominated for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards.

Throughout 2018 and 2019 Obey has gone on to secure worldwide distribution and continues to have a fantastic festival run so far screening and in competition at: Seville Film Festival, Raindance, Sau Paulo International Film Festival, Dinard Film Festival, Bogata International Film Festival, Nordic International Film Festival, Galway Film Festival, Bergen International Film Festival, Toronto Black Film Festival to name a few.

BAFTA: Jamie Jones (Director) won a BAFTA for Breakthrough Director, Wales 2019.

Short Synopsis: The clashing of two very different worlds results in a tragic love story in the heady days leading up to the London riots of 2011.
